High-End Material with a Precision Base
We use high-grade borosilicate 3.3 glass for this glass bottom petri dish. The base is made of ultra-clear, high-transparency glass. This material contains no lead or arsenic and offers excellent chemical stability. It can withstand strong acids, bases, and organic solvents without affecting your samples.
We use a precision fusion molding process, with a firing temperature of 1220℃, followed by fine polishing of the glass bottom. The bottom flatness is controlled within 0.05mm, and the surface is smooth and mirror-like. Its light transmittance is significantly higher than that of standard dishes. The edges are carefully polished to be round and burr-free for safe handling. The lid and base fit well, providing a good seal while maintaining proper airflow. This design meets the requirements of both cell culture and microscopy applications.
Key Data for High-Clarity Imaging
We offer three standard sizes: 35mm, 60mm, and 90mm, all with a height of 15mm. Two glass bottom thickness options are available: 0.17mm for confocal microscopy and 0.5mm for general microscopy. The lid thickness ranges from 1.0 to 1.2mm. Light transmittance exceeds 95%.
It operates within a temperature range of -20℃ to 121℃ and is suitable for autoclaving at 121℃ as well as dry heat sterilization at 180℃. Tests show it can be reused more than 50 times. The glass bottom is distortion-free and compatible with different microscopes.
The ultra-clear glass base is its key advantage, allowing clear observation of cell details under high magnification and accurate capture of fluorescence signals. You can select the bottom thickness according to your setup. Its excellent chemical stability also makes it suitable for advanced applications such as fluorescence staining and drug testing.
